The Ford Bronco offers driver two powertrains, where the four-cylinder 2.3-liter EcoBoost is the standard engine and the 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6. You should expect the former to create 310 pound-feet of torque and 270 horsepower with regular fuel.

The power generated by the EcoBoost engine is transferred to the wheels through a four-wheel-drive (4WD) configuration. In addition, it utilizes a seven-speed manual gearbox with a low-range crawler gear ratio.

Alternatively, drivers can select the twin-turbo V6 engine that offers more than 400 pound-feet of torque and 310 horsepower. Both engine variants link to an automatic, ten-speed transmission. The 4WD configuration utilizes a two-speed electronic transfer case (shift-on-fly) and an optional electronic locking differential. Such features provide the Ford Bronco with impressive acceleration and gear shifting.

The base model has 20 mpg and 22 mpg gas mileage on the city and highway. When the base model is coupled with the Black Diamond or Sasquatch package, it manages an average gas mileage of 18 mpg. The 2.7-liter V6 engine has a city and highway fuel economy of 18 mpg and 20 mpg.
